Meeting People …
Nobel Prize-winner Dr. Muhammad Yunus went on stage just before Coldplay was to close this year's Roskilde Festival. He was invited to Denmark with the support of a few Danish companies among others Brøchner Hotels.
The following day Mikrofonden.dk was founded in the newly refurbished Conference Centre at Hotel Kong Arthur. Mikrofonden.dk is based on Dr. Muhammad Yunus very successful ideas about microcredits, allowing people without funds in the developing countries the opportunity to start small businesses.
Meeting rooms for many purposes
People meet with very different issues on the agenda. The meeting rooms at Kong Arthur are used for many purposes. Minor and major decisions are made, ideas developed and much more. Our task is to ensure that the meetings runs under the best circumstances.
Refurbished
The Conference Centre in the old stable building at Kong Arthur has been completely updated. Some rooms have been given specific functions (eg. SMART board and document camera), and LCD projectors have been installed in all rooms.
Alternative meetings
When quick decisions must be made or bright ideas are needed, you sometimes need external support – eg. can the meeting ‘form’ in itself be supportive. We have made a meeting concept that focuses on creativity and idéa generation. The meeting takes place at the Hotel Fox and is called FOX Mindlab – 100 foxy ideas – 100 foxy minutes. FOX Mindlab has a strict timetable, a special selection of refreshments and ‘room crawl’ is included. Hotel Fox will facilitate roadmap, lunch etc.
At the Hotel Kong Arthur, you can choose to have your meeting package in a version that focuses on health with a fitness instructor and you can chose to have an agreeable finish to a busy day in the hotel spa, where group events can be arranged. View all meeting packages here »

Kirsten Brøchner (Brøchner Hotels) met Dr. Muhammad Yunus at the Roskilde Festival, and they had a good talk about the possibilities for Danish companies to support the microcredit concept.
